Who we are
The data controller for bestmeme.top is bestmeme.top. Privacy contact: legal@bestmeme.top.
What we store
Wallet addresses that have bid, bid amounts, transaction signatures, nonces, rank outcomes, and listing metadata (destination links, pitches, images, social links, click counts). Bid data also exists on Solana and is public there — we index it to run the board. Listing metadata is stored only in our database.
Uploads
If you upload token art (png, jpg, gif, or webp up to 1 MB), we store it in our database and serve it from our domain. It is not written to the blockchain. Replace it on a later controlling bid, or ask us to clear it.
What we don't collect
No accounts, no passwords, no email unless you email us. Nothing is required to browse. We never ask for a seed phrase or private key, and we never will — anyone who does is stealing from you.
Signing in
Alert settings ask your wallet to sign a short message proving you control the address. That signature authorises no transaction and moves no funds; it is the only way to stop someone else reading or changing your settings.
Click counts
We count clicks on outbound links per listing so bidders can see what their slot delivered. Counts are aggregate — no advertising profile, no cross-site tracking, no ad identifiers.
Telegram
If you connect Telegram we store your chat id and your alert trigger preferences. We do not store your Telegram username, contacts, or message history. Disconnect and the pairing is deleted.
Error logs
When cron jobs or payment processing fail, we log error messages and context (such as mint addresses) in our database for operator debugging. These are not public.
Third parties
We read market and security data from DexScreener, Jupiter, RugCheck, GoPlus, and Pyth. Charts are embedded from DexScreener, which may set its own cookies inside that frame under their policy. We use Helius (or your configured RPC) for Solana access and the Telegram Bot API for alerts. Your wallet provider has its own policy.
Why we process data
Bids and listings: to perform the service you requested. Click counts: legitimate interest in showing listing performance. Telegram alerts: your consent when you pair. Error logs: legitimate interest in keeping the service running.
How long we keep it
Confirmed bids and burns: kept as long as the service runs — they are our business record and are re-derivable from chain data. Listing metadata: while the listing exists or until removed. Uploaded images: until replaced or cleared. Alert settings: until you disconnect Telegram or delete them. Error logs: up to 90 days. Orphan payment records: until resolved.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold in our database — not data on Solana. Email legal@bestmeme.top with your wallet address. We respond within 30 days where the law requires it.
International transfers
Our servers and database may be in a different country from you. By using the service you acknowledge that data may be processed there.
Children
The service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data we cannot delete
Anything on Solana is permanent and public — your bids, their amounts and the wallet that sent them. We can remove your listing text, images, social links, and alert settings from our database. We cannot remove a transaction from the chain.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
